    Miami Girls Weekend

    I’m headed to a girls weekend to Miami at the end of March! My best girlfriends and I live far apart from one another (from the east coast to the west coast) so we try to plan a girls trip once a year. Last May we celebrated my bachelorette/birthday party in Nashville. Then in June in Virginia, I saw everyone at my wedding. But that was about 8 months ago (time flies) so it’s about time we get together again! I also can’t believe I’ve been married for almost a year!  Read more

    Spring is in the Air!

    Spring is in the air! It’s been sunny and in the 70’s in Atlanta. I feel like we live in LA with zero humidity and perfect weather. One of my husband’s best friends and his wife were in town and were extremely lucky they got to experience the nice weather. Friday evening we grabbed dinner at our favorite pizza spot, Ribalta. Ribalta’s pizza is authentic Neapolitan cuisine. The restaurant is also conveniently walking distance from our condo.

    As I’ve said before, my weekend basics are comfy jeans, a cotton t-shirt and some kind of jacket depending on the weather. I’m always on the lookout for versatile, comfy, athleisure type clothes that I can wear to workout or that I can wear to brunch with my girlfriends.     I ventured to Grant Park and ate at Ria’s Bluebird, one of Atlanta’s staple restaurants. Ria’s Bluebird has been listed on multiple food blogs and publications as a must visit in Atlanta. Ria’s Bluebird has been on my long to-do list of Atlanta restaurants to try. The diner serves big portions of all-day breakfast including biscuits and rum-soaked French toast. However, Ria’s Bluebird is most famous for its pancakes.  Read more
