As I recapped in one of my recent La Vie Petite posts, Amy Kuschel, my wedding dress designer, launched her ready to wear collection online. Amy Kuschel expanded her brand to include dresses for other wedding occasions, including engagement parties and rehearsal dinners, weddings and anniversaries. In addition, she designed pieces for the office as well. Every Amy Kuschel dress is made in San Francisco with high quality American craftsmanship.

The Wedge

I’m wearing Amy Kuschel’s ‘Wedge’ dress. The dress takes a 60’s twist on the classic little black dress. The Wedge dress is artsy and mod with winged sleeves fashioned after a vintage 1960’s caftan. I love how versatile it is. For work, dress it up with a belt, heels and statement necklace. For Fall, add a turtleneck for a chic, hipster look. Or, layer the Wedge with a blouse for desk to date versatility. The fabric also has a bit of a sheen to it, which adds elegance to it. Plus, the best part is the Wedge dress has pockets. 🙂

Amy Kuschel’s Ready to Wear Collection

I also have Amy Kuschel’s ‘Model T‘ dress, which is perfect for fancier occasions. I love the buttons on the back of the Model T, the cap sleeves and the beautiful champagne material. However, I’ll be getting more wear out of the Wedge dress because it’s more versatile. I can wear it to the office, on a date, or out on the weekends with girlfriends. As much as I love all of Amy Kuschel’s fancier dresses, here are some other of her pieces that are more versatile from the office to a date night:

All the pieces from her new ready to wear collection are stunning. I cannot wait to see what else she comes out with in the future.

xx,

Lauren
