Last minute trip to Amsterdam Part 2!  So like typical American tourists we obviously visited the I Amsterdam sign first and took a million photos.  It was a cloudy and chilly day which made the photographs turn out amazing and the I Amsterdam sign wasn’t that crowded.  After we visited the I Amsterdam sign and the Anne Frank House / Museum we went to the Van Gogh museum.  If you have a chance to visit the Van Gogh museum while you are in Amsterdam, I highly recommend it.  I mean it’s the Van Gogh museum… sunflowers and irises… come on people!  Continue reading

Last minute trip to Amsterdam…why not?  Halfway through our stay in Paris we were out late having dinner and drinks in the city.  After coming home to our hotel around 3am we got on the only computer in the hotel lobby and thought it would be a great idea to buy a train ticket to Amsterdam departing at 7am from Gare du Nord.  We had a rough time waking up after 4 hours or so of sleep…. so we were running late.  When we got to the train platform, no one was there and the doors to get on text train were locked.  Needless to say, the train conductor yelled at us and we thought they were not going to let us on the train but alas they felt sorry for the three dumb American girls.  So, we boarded the train and we were on our way to Amsterdam!

It’s Wednesday so happy hump day!  Please take me back to Paris!  I’m reminiscing on my trip to Paris with these four lovely ladies.  You cannot go to Paris, France without visiting the Musée du Louvre.  The four of us waited in line to visit the museum and of course, to see the Mona Lisa.  Please note, I’m the little one in all black.  I wore a dress, sweater, leggings and boots to walk around the museum.
