Vernacular, a growing womenswear brand, just opened a store in Virginia Highland. It’s a brick + mortar store with women’s apparel, jewelry, and lifestyle products. The brand was started by a husband and wife team from Columbus, Ohio in 2013. Since their beginning Vernacular has grown to having 3 stores in the central Ohio area and now are venturing into select cities; first up Atlanta, followed by Dallas later this Spring.

Vernacular Grand Opening

The new Vernacular store is located right on the main drag of the Virginia Highland neighborhood, just down the block from Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit. I was lucky enough to be invited by the owners to the grand opening in Virginia Highland. The grand opening was on Friday March 10. For local Atlantans the specific location address is: 1044 N. Highland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30306.

At the event I got to meet Kris and Chelsea, the husband and wife team/owners. Kris and Chelsea are beyond talented. I was blown away by how adorable the store is. When you walk into the store think of a mix between a chic LA boutique and the boho feel of Anthropologie. Kris, the husband designed the entire layout of the store. Plus, the quality is amazing, but at really affordable prices. I got this romper and my blue patterned crop top I wore to my friends brunch the other day.

At the Vernacular grand opening I got to meet some other awesome local Atlanta bloggers. Plus, I also got to just shop around with some delicious snacks and champagne. The entire event was so classy. I loved how I got an exclusive look at their brand new store, got to meet the owners and obviously got some cute new clothes.

For local Atlantans you need to check out the new Virginia Highland store. Or, you can also check out online. But they don’t have all their options online.

xx,

Lauren
