The first weekend of May I went to Nashville for my bachelorette party with a group of my best friends and my two younger sisters.  My two sisters (pretty much my middle sister) planned the most amazing bachelorette party weekend for me.  I had never been to Nashville before and wanted to spend my bachelorette weekend at a city I had never been to.  It was a toss-up between Austin and Nashville, since I’d heard so many wonderful things about both cities, but I ended up deciding on Nashville.  After visiting Nashville, I can see why everyone is obsessed with the city…I loved it and would move there in a heartbeat.

We stayed at the Omni Nashville which is right in the heart of the city.  We got in Thursday night and went to dinner in East Nashville, which is a Brooklyn, NY type of vibe.  We got dinner at Holland House in East Nashville, which was adorable.  They had beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and the menu was mostly small plates which was great to share.  It was nice having a low key night on Thursday.

Friday morning we had brunch at the famous Biscuit Love.  It was smart that we went to Biscuit Love on Friday because there was still a line out the door.  I can’t imagine how packed it would have been if we went on Saturday or Sunday.  Friday night we went to Virago for dinner, which is an Asian fusion / sushi restaurant.  The decor is very modern, chic and we sat up on the roof deck which has an amazing view of the city.  Friday night we went on the Nashville Pedal Tavern tour through Midtown which was my favorite activity of the weekend.  Our guide was adorable and it was so fun hanging out with my sisters and all my girlfriends, while pedaling, seeing the city and bar hopping.

Saturday we went to brunch at Frothy Monkey and relaxed at the Omni pool for the day.  Saturday night my friends and sisters surprised me with the sweetest gifts…which made me cry because I’m such a sensitive Sally.  Saturday night we went to dinner at Etch.  My sisters got us a private room, which was beneficial for the other people dining since I’m sure we were extremely loud and annoying.  The food was to die for.  Saturday night we went out to all the Honkey-tonk bars on Broadway Street.  All the country bands at the bars were so talented.

Sunday we said our farewells which was sad but I know I’ll be seeing everyone in a month for our wedding. I am so lucky to have the best sisters and best friends that make me feel so loved and special.  I will be making it back to Nashville soon, especially since it’s only a 4 hour drive from Atlanta.

xx,

Lauren
