    Fab’rik Boutique

    [show_shopthepost_widget id=”2707385″]

This past weekend I had the pleasure of partnering with the boutique Fab’rik. Fab’rik’s mission is that everyone can feel beautiful without breaking the bank. Everything in the store is under $100, with the exception of jeans, as the company believes that every woman should invest in a quality pair of jeans. I really identify with the brand because it is affordable, but doesn’t sacrifice quality.

    California Wine Country

    [show_shopthepost_widget id=”2701819″]

Over Memorial Day weekend I flew out to the west coast to visit one of my best friends, Katie, in San Francisco. San Francisco is one of my favorite cities. If it wasn’t so expensive, I would love to live there with my husband. On Sunday Katie and I ventured out to wine country. Napa was having its annual ‘BottleRock‘ music festival, so we went wine tasting in Sonoma instead of dealing with the craziness in Napa.  Read more

    Welly Merck

    [show_shopthepost_widget id=”2673412″]

I got a new beautiful rose gold watch from Welly Merck, a Switzerland based watch company. Welly Merck designs Swiss watches for both men and women at an affordable price. The ‘Classic New York R‘ (36MM) watch I got only costs $265, but looks like it could be worth $500 or more. Welly Merck gave me a code to share with my readers. Use code ‘LaurenNicole20‘ to get an additional 20% off your purchase. I know I just missed Mother’s Day, but Father’s Day is coming up. Watches are always a great gift for any occasion.

Virginia Wine Tasting // Bachelorette Party Festivities

    [show_shopthepost_widget id=”2668957″]

Last weekend I traveled to Charlottesville, Virginia to celebrate my friend Melissa’s bachelorette party. I’ve known Melissa forever and she’s one of the sweetest people I know. We went to high school and to college together. Then after college we lived together in Arlington, Virginia. I wanted to wear this new white eyelet dress wine tasting, but I ended up wearing jeans and layering because it was so cold. But despite the weather, we still had a fabulous weekend.  Read more

    Sisters Weekend

    [show_shopthepost_widget id=”2660274″]
My two younger sisters came to visit me this past weekend!  It was the first time they had visited me since I moved to Atlanta. I’m the oldest. Alissa, my middle sister lives in NYC and Caylen, my youngest sister lives in Arlington, VA near our parents and the rest of our extended family. We’ve always been close since we were babies. It’s hard living far away from them now, but I cherish the moments we are together!

Jumping into Spring with South Moon Under

South Moon Under was one of my favorite places to shop at when I lived in Virginia. One is in Ponce City Market and the other is at Avalon in Alpharetta. To celebrate the openings in Atlanta, South Moon Under has given me a promo code to share with you: “PEACH,” valid through May 10th, online only for 15% off full price items and free shipping, no min order amount, exclusions apply.

    Bersuse Towels

    [show_shopthepost_widget id=”2614765″]

While I was vacationing in Miami, I used my new Bersuse towel (see part 1 and part 2 recap of my Miami trip). Bersuse towels are high quality Turkish towels, but for an affordable price. The towels are hand-loomed in Turkey, and are %100 Turkish Cotton.  I’m obsessed with my orange and purple Bersuse towel. The towel is extremely soft and the colors are bright and beautiful.

    Miami Getaway // Part 1

    [show_shopthepost_widget id=”2588556″]

My closest girlfriends and I all live in different cities so we try to plan weekends to visit one another. My oldest and dearest friend, Tricia, lives in Los Angeles and organized a girls trip to South Beach Miami. I immediately jumped on the bandwagon for a girls weekend filled with sunshine, sand and mojitos. Most of my new outfits I got for Miami are from Tobi, because Tobi is affordable, but all the clothes are unique and have a laid back, West Coast vibe.

    Brunch at Casa de Amy

    [show_shopthepost_widget id=”2550051″]

Two weekends ago my friend Amy had a bunch of us girls over for brunch. Amy lived in Spain for over a year so all her dishes were authentic to what she ate while in Spain. Amy cooked Spanish tortillas, French flat bread with gruyere cheese and caramelized onions and salad with mixed greens, beets and goat cheese. The favorite of the day was the “tostada con tomate,” a specialty from the eastern coast of Spain. For beverages we had freshly juiced, orange pineapple and blackberry mint mimosas, and cafe con leche or espresso with fresh whipped cream. Amy really over did herself and now I’ll never be able to top her brunch. For dessert she even made fudge. I had Amy send over her amazing recipes!
