Low Key Atlanta Weekend

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”3250241″]
These past couple of weeks after getting back from our Europe vacation (Edinburgh recap; Amsterdam recap; Paris recap) have been very low-key.  On the weekends Jeremy and I have been catching up on sleep and running errands.  During the week last week I went to New  York City for work. Traveling for work is never a vacation. My team and I are up early and working all day to late at night to get the most out of our travels.  However, we did get to have a night to ourselves and my one coworker and I saw Waitress the Musical featuring Katharine McPhee on Broadway.  It was the last week Katharine McPhee was performing (her last show was on August 19) so we were super lucky to see her.  The show is such a feel good romantic comedy.

Relaxing Weekend in Atlanta

This past weekend Jeremy went to a bachelor party in Montreal so I had the place to myself.  Friday I worked until 7pm (miserable for a Friday evening) so I went home, cooked dinner and watched a movie.  On Saturday I worked out, ran errands and then met friends for dinner at Bar Taco in Inman Park.  Jeremy and I are currently on the Keto Diet, so eating low carbs/high fat and protein.  Bar Taco has options to switch out the tacos with lettuce and they were surprisingly filling.  I also switched out chips and guacamole for vegetables and guacamole.  After dinner I went home and watched the first episode of the second season of The Handmaid’s Tale.  On Sunday I went to yoga and then just worked on my blog!

So, again nothing super exciting going on this weekend but got to rest and catch up with friends.  Hope everyone had a great weekend and a great start to the week!

xx,

Lauren
