My two favorite winter hues are grey and black.  Grey and black mix and match well together and can make a simple outfit look chic, well thought out and put together.  On black Friday this year I went shopping with my fiancés family at the Tanger outlets in Hilton Head.  I got this super warm grey wrap sweater at the Gap outlet.  I’m a baby when it comes to cold weather, hence part of the reason we moved further south to Atlanta.  This Gap sweater is so cozy and I’ve been wearing it non-stop.  Over the weekend while I was out and about running errands, I paired my grey Gap sweater with my Ann Taylor black skinny jeans, J Crew suede loafers, Coach aviator sunglasses, Missoni headband and Marc by Marc Jacobs purse.   Continue reading

I cannot believe Christmas is already over!  Time flies!  My fiancé and I didn’t get to Virginia until around 4pm on Christmas Eve.  Our flight was supposed to leave Atlanta at 9am on Christmas Eve morning, but our flight didn’t depart from Atlanta until 2:30pm due to the crazy thunderstorms in Atlanta.  Luckily we made it home in time for Christmas Eve dinner with my Mom’s side of the family.  My family traditions include having Christmas Eve dinner with my Mom and her side of the family and on Christmas morning I spend it with my Mom and sisters.  Christmas afternoon we head over to my Dad’s house and spend Christmas afternoon/evening with my Dad, Stepmom, Stepbrothers, Stepsisters and two nieces.   Continue reading
