Lovely in Leopard

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”2855962″]
I love leopard prints for the Fall and for the winter. When I was shopping with my girlfriends, I fell in love with this Equipment silk leopard blouse. The lovely bow detail makes the blouse more feminine. Please note, the blouse doesn’t come with the tie. I’m not sure why there is a tie in the photo. When I got home I realized I have the same exact leopard print in an Equipment dress that I bought last year. The shift dress is made of the same silk material, with patch pockets detail in the front, and a buttoned keyhole closes the back. I also love how the dress has 3/4 sleeves, which makes it perfect for layering under a leather jacket.

However, a blouse is more versatile because I can wear it to the office and also on the weekends. I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing a leopard print dress to the office. My office is pretty casual, but I would likely get some weird stares if I wore a full leopard print dress to work. But, I love the Equipment leopard dress for the weekends. Last October, I wore it to my friends welcome wedding party in Martha’s Vineyard. You can see recaps of the Martha’s Vineyard Fall wedding here and here.
Leopard flats are also another one of my favorite ways to spice up an outfit. I’ve worn my flats to death, so I had to buy another pair for this season. I wear them on repeat with a pair of skinny jeans, an oversized sweater, or blouse with a blazer. If you’re not comfortable to wear a leopard print blouse or a leopard print dress, a pair of flats would be a good place to start to try out the trend.
Thank you to the darling Morgan from Morgan Hayes Photography for taking my photos.

Lauren
