    Hilton Head Thanksgiving

My husband and I celebrated Thanksgiving in Hilton Head.  Jeremy and I drove to Hilton Head Wednesday afternoon and had dinner with his Mom and Stepdad that evening.  Luckily we didn’t hit too much traffic on the drive to Hilton Head.  Wednesday night we watched ‘Jaws’ because Jeremy had never seen it.  Probably a weird move to watch the night before Thanksgiving, but the movie is still a classic.    Continue reading

The first weekend of May I went to Nashville for my bachelorette party with a group of my best friends and my two younger sisters.  My two sisters (pretty much my middle sister) planned the most amazing bachelorette party weekend for me.  I had never been to Nashville before and wanted to spend my bachelorette weekend at a city I had never been to.  It was a toss-up between Austin and Nashville, since I’d heard so many wonderful things about both cities, but I ended up deciding on Nashville.  After visiting Nashville, I can see why everyone is obsessed with the city…I loved it and would move there in a heartbeat.  Continue reading

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!  Every family has their own Christmas/holiday traditions.  This was the first year my fiancé and I had to travel to visit family since we no longer live in Virginia.  We went to Hilton Head for a couple of days before Christmas to spend an early Christmas with Jeremy’s Mom, Stepdad and sister.  My fiancé’s Mom and Stepdad used to live in Virginia and retired and moved to Hilton Head last winter.  On Christmas Eve morning we flew out to Virginia to see my family. We always spend Christmas Eve with my Mom’s side of the family.  My Mom comes from a large family and they all live in northern Virginia.  My Mom has 5 brothers and sisters (my aunts and uncles) and almost all of them have kids (my cousins).  When we were younger we’d spend Christmas Eve at my Grandmother’s house, but the last couple of years my Mom has hosted it.  I love my crazy, large family.
